Nissan engineers designed the first family electric car with luxurious specifications and affordable price.
This zero-emission car is five-seated Leaf hatchback and could be charged from a plug socket at home and has a top speed of 76mph. The price according to Nissan is going to be around 22,000$ -13,000 £. First, they are going to put it on the market in Britain then they will release it to the United States and Japan by the end of 2010. Nissan is also working on the car’s lithium-ion battery which comes separately and not included in the car price.
